Terms of Service
Last updated: June 21, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Trent mobile app and trenttrent.com (together, “Trent” or the “Service”), operated by Omer Granada as a sole proprietor based in Israel (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using Trent you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Trent.
1. Who can use Trent
You must be at least 16 years old to use Trent. By using the Service you confirm that you are 16 or older, that the information you provide is accurate, and that you will keep it up to date. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account, so keep your password confidential.
2. What Trent is
Trent is a community platform where users post apartment listings, look for apartments or roommates, share posts, and message one another. Trent is a venue that connects users — we are not a real-estate broker, agent, landlord, tenant, or party to any rental, sublet, or other agreement reached between users. We do not own, manage, inspect, or endorse any listing, and we do not verify the accuracy of any listing, price, or user statement.
3. Your account
- You may hold only one account and may not impersonate any person or misrepresent your identity.
- You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your login credentials secure.
- Notify us at support@trenttrent.com if you believe your account has been compromised.
4. Acceptable use and zero-tolerance policy
Trent has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behavior. You agree not to post, send, or share content, and not to behave in any way, that:
- is unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading (including fake or scam listings);
- is hateful, harassing, threatening, defamatory, obscene, sexually explicit, or violent;
- infringes anyone’s intellectual-property, privacy, or other rights;
- discriminates against any person on the basis of race, religion, nationality, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic;
- contains spam, malware, or unsolicited advertising, or attempts to harvest other users’ data;
- shares another person’s private information without their consent;
- attempts to access, disrupt, or reverse-engineer the Service or to bypass its security or moderation.
You are solely responsible for your content and your dealings with other users. Always exercise caution when meeting people, viewing apartments, transferring money, or signing agreements.
5. Your content and the license you grant us
You retain ownership of the content you post (listings, photos, videos, posts, comments, and messages). By posting content you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, and distribute that content solely to operate, promote, and improve the Service. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies retained for legal or backup purposes and content others have already shared. You confirm that you have the rights to the content you post.
6. Moderation, reporting, and enforcement
We use automated and manual moderation to detect prohibited content. You can report any listing, post, comment, or message, and block any user, from inside the app; reports are reviewed and we act on objectionable content and abusive users within 24 hours where appropriate. We may remove content, issue warnings or strikes, and temporarily or permanently suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, at our discretion and without prior notice.
7. Listings and transactions between users
Any rental, sublet, roommate arrangement, payment, or other transaction is solely between the users involved. We are not a party to it, do not screen users or listings, and are not responsible for the conduct of any user or for any loss, damage, dispute, or injury arising from interactions or transactions between users. Verify details independently before paying any money or signing any agreement.
8. Third-party services
Trent relies on third-party providers (such as Supabase, Twilio, Resend, Expo, and map providers) and may contain links to third-party sites or services. We are not responsible for third-party services, and your use of them may be subject to their own terms.
9. Our intellectual property
The Trent name, logo, software, and design are owned by us and protected by law. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for its intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from the Service except as these Terms allow.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any listing or user statement is true.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service or your interactions with other users. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed ILS 200. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claim, demand, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content, your use of the Service, your dealings with other users, or your breach of these Terms.
13. Termination
You may stop using Trent and delete your account at any time from Settings, or by contacting support@trenttrent.com. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including content license for already-shared content, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification) will survive.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The competent courts of Tel Aviv-Yafo, Israel, will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, except where mandatory consumer-protection law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the new version here and update the “Last updated” date. If changes are material we will notify you in the app. Continued use of Trent after the changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
